Elvis Presley Jewish Chai pendant is now available. Elvis personally wore this in the 1970's and later gave it to Al Strada who worked for him. This is a very well known piece in the Elvis jewelry collection with very few items of Elvis available at this time.
Originally purchased by Chris of the Elvis-A-Rama museum in Las Vegas,(owned now by one of my good friends). Comes with letter from museum stating how it was on display there for years and letter from the cousin of Elvis who is also a Presley!
Elvis often wore the Chai and sometimes the Star of David along with a Christian Cross. He jokingly told people that he did not want to miss heaven on a technicality. Elvis owned many similar pendants over the years. and was even wearing a diamond encrusted chai during his final CBS-TV Special in 1977.
Included here are photos of Elvis wearing the chai pendant at the famous Jaycees breakfast in January, 1971. He had just been selected one of the nation's 10 outstanding young men for 1970.
