This small poster is from the FIRST release of this film in Australia. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE KNOWN TO EXIST.

Extremely rare! Folded once across the middle. It has an incredibly tiny pinhole in the upper right border, right at the edge. It has a faint stain on the back of the middle left of the poster that slightly shows through to the front, but it is not at all distracting since it is in the sky area.

It is believed that director George Miller had these posters printed himself as a sort of "wilding" poster (printed with play dates and theater name), designed to be put up all over town so that more people would learn of the movie! Remember that this movie was really unknown at this time, and it is thought that Mr. Miller himself put these on display, and also mailed examples of this poster (with the bottom area trimmed off) to media outlets, along with a letter, inviting them to a special screening! No one even knew this poster existed until 20 years after they were first made, when a collector found one, and since that time, two more have been discovered, but the other two do not have the bottom play dates area! So, to the best of our knowledge, this is the only surviving example of this poster, complete with play dates.
